The safest and best way to enjoy bushwalking is with a Club. Ipswich Bushwalkers Inc. is a small, friendly club based in Ipswich Queensland, Australia. We publish a Club Newsletter every 2 months, including details of upcoming walks and other useful information related to bushwalking. The February - April 2012 Edition has been released, please check it out. Our walks vary from simple, short day trips on graded tracks to very tough, arduous treks. We try to provide a variety of activities to suit all fitness levels. While the majority of walks are planned by our Committee, we encourage suggestions for walks from Members which can be put forward at one of our Meetings. Occasional socials such as BBQ's are also included. Club Meetings are usually held on the first Sunday of the month, February to December inclusive. Meetings commence at 7:00pm, and are held at Councillor Trevor Nardi’s Electorate Office, Shop 1, 36 South Station Road, Booval, opposite Sloman Street. Entry to the Office is via the back door, and parking is available at the rear of the building. At the meetings, after the formal matters have been attended to, future walks and events are discussed in a casual atmosphere.
